These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of bettysluck.com and the services offered by Betty's Luck. By using the site or our services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Our services

Betty's Luck sells live houseplants, ceramic planters, botanical gifts and a monthly plant subscription, delivered to customers.

Live plants

Plants are living products, so each one is unique and may vary slightly in size, shape and colour from the photos shown. Care guidance is provided with every plant. Our 30-day happy-plant promise covers plants that arrive damaged or fail within 30 days of delivery when the care guide has been followed; to claim, email us a photo within that period.

Pets and safety

Pet-friendly labels are based on the ASPCA's published lists of plants non-toxic to cats and dogs. Some plants can cause irritation if eaten; keep plants out of reach of children and pets and seek veterinary or medical advice if ingestion occurs.

2. Orders, pricing and payment

Prices shown on the site are in US dollars unless stated otherwise and may change from time to time; any change will not affect orders already confirmed. When you sign up, we will confirm the details and send a secure payment link. Your contract with us begins once we confirm your order in writing.

3. Subscriptions, cancellations and refunds

Individual orders may be cancelled free of charge until they are dispatched. The Lucky Club subscription renews monthly and can be skipped, paused or cancelled at any time before the 20th of the month. Refunds for live plants are handled under our 30-day happy-plant promise. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing malware, scraping content at scale, or submitting false or unlawful information through our forms.

5. Intellectual property

All content on this site — including text, graphics, logos and the design of the site — belongs to Betty's Luck or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Photographs are used under licence from Unsplash. You may not copy or reuse our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

6. Disclaimers

The site and its content are provided “as is” for general information. We work hard to keep information accurate and up to date but do not guarantee it is complete or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Betty's Luck is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to your use of the site.
